Ups and Downs of Marriage

Marriage is just a piece of paper with a fancy stamp on it. It doesn’t have a manual of how marriage actually works. There will be ups and downs, fights or no fights, sleeping together or sleeping in separated rooms, laughter or tears, love or no love. I myself recently got married in July 2015 in Gulf Shores, Alabama (Gorgeous place I have to admit!) and 5 months later, I already feel like it’s falling apart. I feel so overwhelmed with trying to keep this marriage together and it’s frustrating. Our first fight was a couple nights after the wedding and it was about not changing my last name. I told him weeks before getting married that I didn’t want to change my last name because I felt it was wrong to just change my last name for him. (I plan to do another blog about not changing my last name, don’t worry though!) Eventually...

I'm the person that would listen to the media and talk to other people what do they think, how would they react and what they would do. It's quite fascinating that so many people on the planet has their own opinions, and there is always a different opinion that we would never even thought of before. Each person has their own opinions and their own stories to tell. Let me tell you my story.  It's the late fall of 2006 and the weather has swift cold winds and leaves are crumbling to the ground. A small yellow school bus pulls up to the drop off and I grab my backpack with a sigh and off to school I went. Wandering down the hallway of Grayslake North High School, I see bulletins of joining the Yearbook Club and I thought to myself, "That would be fun because I love writing and taking pictures, maybe later when I have the time....
